Penn Presbyterian Medical Center offers
a wide range of behavior health services, including
inpatient and outpatient services for mental health
and addiction treatments, and specialty mental health
programs for older adults.
Penn Presbyterian's dedicated staff of physicians,
nurses and counselors are nationally recognized
as leaders in addiction treatment. The Joint
Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
(JCAHO), which evaluates hospitals against a
set of national standards, has consistently given
Penn Presbyterian the highest marks for the quality
of our services. In addition, our Addiction Treatment
Research was named "Organization
of the Year" by the National Association
for Addiction Professionals and "Program of the
Year" by the Pennsylvania Certification Board.
We offer specialized programs for:

Individual and Group counseling, 12-Step Meetings
on campus, educational materials and support,
relapse prevention groups, and family support
and orientation meetings are available for all
patients. Penn Presbyterian has an extensive
Alumni Association, which offers a strong network
of support after the program is completed.
