Hematology/Oncology

The Cancer Center at Penn Presbyterian, a member of the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network, offers state-of-the-art treatment for all cancers by our dedicated team of specialists with an emphasis on investigational and novel agents.

The Developmental Therapeutics Program is a program in the Division of Hematology/Oncology dedicated to the identification, understanding and testing of novel agents, or combination of agents in the treatment or prevention of cancer. This is accomplished through laboratory work, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic evaluation and conducting clinical trials in patients with cancer.

  • Develop new treatments for patients with cancer
  • Understand how potential new treatments work
  • Individualize dosing of chemotherapy
  • Provide access to new and promising anti-cancer agents
