Expansion of Cardiovascular Services to Affiliate Medical Centers
The Penn cardiovascular surgery program has established affiliate relationships at community medical centers across Philadelphia and its surrounding regions.

In 2006, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsyylvania Hospital, Phoenixville Hospital, Brandywine Hospital and Bayhealth Medical Center performed a combined total of 2,143 major cardiovascular surgeries.
