Adult Congenital Heart Disease

The Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program at Penn Cardiac Care at Penn Presbyterian specializes in care for adult patients who:

  • were born with atrial and ventricular septal defects and are in need of a heart transplant
  • have undiagnosed adult congenital heart disease
  • require re-operative procedures

Our Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center offers:

  • Adult coarctation, especially re-operative procedures
  • Aortic root procedures
  • Ross procedure
  • Atrial and ventricular septal defects
  • Repair of congenital coronary anomalies
  • Tri-cuspid valve procedures
  • Lung transplants in combination with intracardiac repairs

The Program is additionally strengthened by its close affiliation with The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
