Penn Cardiac Care Research
Penn is one of the nation's premiere
cardiovascular research facilities committed
to improving patient care. Over the
past decade cardiovascular research and clinical
care at Penn has grown tremendously with
many nationally and internationally recognized
research and clinical programs.
Every year
since 2002, cardiovascular research at Penn
has received $50 million or more in funding
from the National
Heart Lung and Blood Institute.
The Penn
Cardiovascular Institute promotes
collaborative teams of investigators from
across the University focused on translating
discoveries in cardiovascular science and
technology into strategies to advance health.
Our goal is to accelerate the pace at which
life-saving procedures, devices, and medications
reach the public.
