Fakharzadeh, MD, PhD has developed a
clinic for patients with genetic disorders related
to the skin. Dr. Fakharzadeh is particularly
interested in tumor syndromes with skin manifestations.
He sees patients with a variety of disorders,
including basal cell nevus syndrome, Muir-Torre
syndrome, Cowden syndrome, tuberous sclerosis,
neurofibromatosis, and Gardner syndrome, to name
a few.
In addition, Dr. Fakharzadeh maintains an active
research program studying the genetic basis of
skin tumors, inherited skin disease, and cutaneous
gene therapy.
