Treatment Options

Penn Center for Voice and Swallowing at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center offers an extensive range of treatment options to provide you with the specialized care you need for your voice or swallowing problem. Depending on the diagnosis, physicians may employ voice or swallowing therapy, prescribe medication or perform surgery. Treatment options include:

  • behavioral voice therapy
  • botulinium toxin (Botox) injections
  • laryngeal framework surgery
  • laryngeal reconstruction
  • pharmacological intervention
  • phonosurgery
  • swallowing therapy
