Penn Home Care & Hospice Services brings exceptional
care home to patients and their families. With

Services provides
direction for our three distinct service programs.
Penn
Care at Home is a premiere provider
of quality, compassionate and innovative nursing services
in the home. This care allows patients to recover at
home from a variety of diagnoses, including congestive
heart failure, orthopaedic surgery, diabetes, stroke,
cancer, and respiratory illness. Physical, occupational
and speech therapies as well as social work services
are available to assist with patient recovery.
Penn
Home Infusion Therapy nurses provide
infusion care for patients in Philadelphia,
its five surrounding counties and New Jersey.
Penn Home Infusion Therapy offers the most recent
oncology patient care standards, including pain and
symptom management; new protocols for cardiology; as
well as antibiotic, anticoagulant, hydration,
and total parenteral (TPN) therapies.
Wissahickon Hospice is one of the
oldest and largest hospice programs in the Philadelphia region,
and was the first Medicare certified hospice
in Pennsylvania. Using a team approach, this program
provides pain management and care for patients with
a wide variety of diagnoses such as cancer, end-stage
heart disease, end-stage dementia, and other terminal
illnesses.
Coming Soon in 2008! Penn's
Inpatient Hospice Unit will be located in Center
City, Philadelphia (at the site of the former Graduate
Hospital).
