Sarcoidosis and Beryllium-Induced Lung Disease

Sarcoidosis
The University of Pennsylvania Health System has participated in multi-center NIH-sponsored studies in sarcoidosis as well as drug company-sponsored clinical trials. A multidisciplinary approach is taken for patients with chronic sarcoidosis and difficult treatment issues. Patients are offered state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities and cuting-edge treatment options.

Beryllium-Induced Lung Disease
Penn is internationally recognized as a referral center for the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic beryllium disease. In addition, our staff is available to assist industry in the development of cost-effective screening programs for beryllium disease, and in the evaluation and treatment of symptomatic workers.
