Pennsylvania Hospital and Physicians: United for Reform & Superior Patient Care

Beginning on April 28, 2003, physicians throughout Pennsylvania will join in protest in an effort to make the public aware of the seriousness of the malpractice situation in this state. Pennsylvania Hospital supports our physicians in their fight to continue caring for their patients and in seeking needed malpractice reform.

At the same time, we want to assure our patients and their families that the hospital will continue around the clock operation, ensuring that patients’ needs are met. While some physicians will not be providing office hours or performing elective procedures, all will respond to patient emergencies.

We thank you in advance for your patience and seek your understanding and support.

We also encourage your support as well by writing to your legislators. Log on to patientaccess.org to contact your local legislator. Tell them to work on a solution that will keep your doctor in Pennsylvania!
