Complementing this multidisciplinary approach is a clinical research program. The Integrated Breast Center, in coordination with the Joan Karnell Cancer Center at Pennsylvania Hospital, participates in a variety of clinical trials, including those sponsored by:
- The University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network
- The Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group
- The American College of Surgeons
- A number of other regional and pharmaceutical based trials
This clinical research, for patients who are interested and eligible, can offer the latest therapies available.
