Mission Statement:
Penn Radiology at Pennsylvania
Hospital
The mission of the Radiology Department of Pennsylvania
Hospital is to provide our patients access to
superior diagnostic and therapeutic testing and
treatment, using the most current methods available
in the medical field of radiology.
The Chairman of Radiology coordinates the medical
team. The technological and ancillary personnel
are under the direction of the department director.
Together, the Chairman and Director coordinate
overall activities of the Department of Radiology.
The Department has a Radiology
Residency. Also,
it has relationships with Thomas Jefferson University
for ultrasound students, Community College of
Philadelphia for radiology program students and
Gwynedd Mercy College for radiation oncology
program students.
