Vascular Surgery

Vascular minimally invasive surgeries include:

  • Peripheral angioplasty and stenting – Blocked arteries supplying blood flow to the brain, abdominal organs, and legs are repaired using small catheters, balloons and stents, which are inserted into the artery through the groin.
  • Aortic stent grafts – Aortic aneurysms are repaired with a stent graft placed through the arteries in the groin. A small groin incision is used instead of a large abdominal incision.

Vascular Surgery:

Keith Calligaro, MD
Matt Dougherty, MD
