Thoracic Surgery at Penn Medicine at Cherry Hill

Penn Medicine at Cherry Hill offers diagnosis and follow-up services for patients with benign and malignant lung disease, as well as mesothelioma, hiatal hernia, emphysema, GERD and other disorders affecting the respiratory and digestive systems.

Taine Pechet, MD, is a leading thoracic surgeon, certified in both surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures, particularly for the treatment of cancer.

Dr. Pechet is available to see new and established patients. During the initial visit, patients are evaluated and complete prescribed diagnostic studies. If indicated, surgery is performed at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Three weeks post-discharge, patients are seen by Dr. Pechet for a follow-up appointment.
